Founder & CEO
Jeff Ramson is an entrepreneur and business innovator. With more than 25 years of Wall Street experience, raising money and providing strategic guidance for emerging public and private companies in various stages of development, Jeff pioneered the intelligent use of social media to advance investor relations’ goals. Recent SEC guidelines on the appropriate use of social media comes years after PCG’s introduction of structures and processes for its clients that successfully enlist within traditional guidelines and utilize social media tools to increase awareness among key stakeholders.
There is synergy between the entrepreneurial spirit Jeff Ramson’s career has embodied and the entrepreneurial nature of the small/micro-cap companies that make up a great percentage of PCG’s clientele. PCG was established in 2008 as a holding company for a network of resources dedicated to the discovery and creation of value in the small/micro-cap marketplace. PCG is geared toward helping investors identify value where it is not most obvious, and connecting them to companies who can provide that value. PCG helps maximize market awareness for undervalued and overlooked emerging-growth public companies and facilitates a dynamic flow of information between companies and the financial community.
Jeff began his career at PriceWaterhouse as an accountant. Following that, Jeff worked at First Boston, Crédit Lyonnais, Bank of Nova Scotia, Barclays and Moore Capital. Then, Jeff began his entrepreneurial path by founding a professional trading firm and ultimately a full-service broker dealer. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The George Washington University and attained the CPA certification in 1985.
